Would you like to make your own container candles or reed diffusers? If so, come on one of our workshops and learn to make super scented candles / diffusers to take home and have some fun in the process.
We run these at our premises for two to four people at a time for publicly bookable workshops. Up to five attendees for privately booked workshops of friends or family.
We all learn differently so we run our workshops on what works best for you to get the best result, and to have the most fun. Many people want sufficient information so they don’t make big mistakes, some want very little direction and others want lots of info.
If you want just the basics covered, then we provide just that. There is also a very detailed instruction sheet for those who would like it. In other words, we tailor the experience to suit each person on the workshop; every attendee gets as much help and guidance as they need and want. And of course you can ask questions at any time.
We aim to run one workshop a month from late September 2024 onwards. One month the workshop will be during the weekend, one month during a weekday evening and one month during a weekday morning.
Workshops are typically one and a half to two hours and will vary depending on how many candles / diffusers you want to make and the detail you want to go into.
The workshops start with an overview of the processes together with some hints and tips. We then help and support you the whole way whilst you make your first candle / diffuser. You choose the shape and size container for your candle / diffuser from our collection of glass containers (or you bring your own). Or you can use one of our production containers if you prefer. You determine the best wick size for your candle or number or reeds for your diffuser, quantity of wax / base and essential oils, plus the blend of oils you will use.
We also supply gloves and masks so you don’t come into direct contact with the essential oils. Many oils are fine but it’s best to avoid splashes on skin where possible. The same goes for clothing; older clothes are best!
